On Frail Wings 017The bus ride over to the venue was a quiet and awkward one. Ashley sat on the opposite couch from me, and was busy reading his Playboy magazine. I know that we're not in a relationship, and I'm trying not to care, but I feel a little I don't know cheated.

On Frail Wings 015I held my head as I sat up in bed. My head was pounding and my stomach felt like it was on fire. I don't remember anything past drinking with Jayy and his friends, then everything went blank.

I saw Ashley asleep on the other bed, face down in the pillow. I don't even remember coming back here; or Ashley coming back. Of course I don't even remember leaving the club. Maybe Jayy would know what I did.

"I don't know" he said pacing.

"I mean I like you, but I don't want people to know that I like a guy, and not my own band mate! I'm suppose to be straight!"

I'd never been one to want to hide my relationships from other people. My parents always taught me that if someone wanted to be with you, then they should be bothered if other people knew or didn't like it.
